    1 Corinthians 3:7
    King James Version (KJV)
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

7 So, the one who plants isn't anything, nor is the one who waters; for, God is the One who makes it grow.

With Old Testament based on the Greek Septuagint

    My thoughts.
God is the one that deserves praise when someone comes to the Lord because God leads the right person to first sthe share the gospel and second person to make them think about the gospel and then oneday someone is there will they make that final step and God is accepted by one who was lost. We are should not take credit for what God allows us to do as His servants.

I see what your saying. If i were just to love the world without God in my life, my greed would possibly push me to try and possess as many things as possible to fill in the empty void that only the love of God can fill. I would possibly seek to use people for personal gain and I may try to use people so i wont have to be alone in this world because without God we feel alone in this world, but knowing God means you are never alone.
